A Gaggle of Girls

These pictures are of Holland and Eden with my sister Melissa's girls, Jenna, Claire, and Kate.

Seriously. Have you ever seen such a ridiculously beautiful group of little girls?

they are all pretty as a picture!! I was wondering if you could share some info. on glasses. We just got some with cable temples and they are still big! They slide down our daughters nose and we are having a hard time finding a "fix" for them to stay in place. I really like your little girls glasses... they aren't colored are they? i like that you barely notice them. Any info. would be great, I'm sure you got them around where you live obviously?! Thanks!

Parker Twins Mom,
Holland's glasses are part of the Disney Eyewear collection. The ones she has now are the Snow White frames, and before that we had the Cinderella frames. Our eye doctor cuts the temple bar down to put ear wraps on, and also switches out the nose pads for smaller clear rubbery circles. We have had absolutely no problems with them sliding on her nose. The Cinderella frames come in the smallest size (38), but it looks like Alisa might be big enough to wear a bigger size like Holland (41).

You can find links to the frames on my post from Feb 7, 2008:)

Beautiful pics! Is that a garden wagon they are in? We just bought one, and my husband is making a few adaptations so we can have room for all three girls and a ventilator. Good to see that everyone fits in nicely. Thanks again for sharing your pics. They are always so great to see!

Vickie,
Yes, it is a garden wagon that my dad just bought. Nice and roomy.

I didn't know you had another baby! How exciting! Do you have pictures up somewhere? Do you mind sharing?

Hi Billie
I have followed your blog for a long time, but never left a comment. I enjoy watching your girls grow. I have twins that are four years old. They were born ten weeks early and thankfully have no long term effects of their prematurity. I do not find my self a super spiritual person, but got this email from a friend and wanted to share it with your family.

Some victories are sweeter than others – well worth four minutes of your time!
The son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?". The father who, despite having a heart condition says, "Yes". They went on to complete that together & even completed other marathons. The father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together". To which, his father said, "Yes'". For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses 3 endurance events; A 2.4 mile ocean swim, a 112 mile bike ride & ends with a 26.2 mile run. Father & son went on to complete the race together. Where'd the cool eye patches come from? They only had ugly flesh colored ones when I was a kid.

Billie said...

The eye patches are from Ortopad. They have some really cute ones that work great!

No. I haven't. They're all adorable. So happy to read about Eden's new wheelchair too. What a pain...but how worth it!!
